DESCRIPTION
Torrey Holistics; San Diego’s premier cannabis company is looking for an Part Time Inventory Clerk for our growing store. We are seeking qualified candidates who take pride in a job well done and enjoy tasks that revolve around structure and consistency. As a member of our Inventory Control Team, you will act as the backbone of the store by providing the store with the merchandise they need and customers with the products they want. This position starts at $17.00 per hour plus tips. Employees receive a generous discount as well.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and perform daily inventory cycle counts
  • Collaborate with inventory team to restock sales floor and push out new inventory according to FIFO (First In, First Out)
  • Ensure shelves are organized, presentable, and stocked at all times
  • Organize and store product properly in inventory rooms based on category, brand, and FIFO
  • Ensure all incoming inventory is compliant with state regulations by thoroughly checking each individual product upon arrival
  • Manage and review all incoming Metrc orders, ensuring complete accuracy with manifests, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Label all new products with POS barcodes
  • Assure the department back rooms are clean and orderly
  • Troubleshoot and report inventory discrepancies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
  • Must be able to stand for at least 4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Previous retail inventory experience considered an asset
  • Proficient in Google Docs and Sheets
  • Must possess good communication skills
  • Must be able to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation
  • Utilize training tools, and process inventory
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be available for days, nights, weekends, holidays, and some overnight shifts
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
