This week I got to the OG from True Classic OG and let’s just say they stay true to their name! So many companies try to create their unique strains and crosses but sometimes the best way is the original or classics and I think this strain shows why.
First off I like the packaging because it’s super simple. Goes well with the branding and doesn’t try to confuse the customer with packaging. Usually the fancier packaging will attract new customers catching their eye, where the more seasoned smokers usually tend to lean to the more simple labels and just see the numbers. Speaking of numbers this bud tests at 35% and is probably the first true thc percentage I believed.
Unfortunately with the way testing is the thc numbers in flower can be exaggerated and inflated to look better. It’s not technically wrong however it’s a gray loop hole in the system that will be worked out, but this True Classic OG (OG stands for Ocean Grown)
When I first cracked open the jar, the smell sent me back to Virginia smoking with my friends from high school. Split open the box of dutches and put your face in a fat sack of OG you just picked up from the dealer. The funky smell just makes your eyes roll back as you lean back in your chair.
You can definitely say I was excited to try this bud. I pulled out a big ole fat nug. The buds were a mix of light and dark greens , small red pistols, and beautiful little trichomes covering the entire nug.
It was dense but still very fresh. Sometimes with dense buds they can be cured or dried out too long but these were perfect. As I pulled it apart it left a sticky resin on my fingers, a very good thing! I put it in the grinder and had a slight smile on my face as the grinder gave a slight trouble while grinding it.

Terpenes: Myrcene, Limonene and Caryophyllene

Effects: Sleepy, relaxed, hungry. I smoked it that night I was out in 5-10 mins.
Some companies can trick you. Sometimes a bud can look really good or have a scent that gets you excited, but unfortunately the high doesn’t live up to it. That’s not the case with the True Classic OG!
This was one of the best indicas I have had in awhile. There are some really good indicas out there but this one knocked me out, literally! I never take naps and this knocked me out for an hour in the middle of the day, then when I smoked it that night I was out in 5-10 mins. I have had trouble sleeping since middle school and a main reason I use cannabis is for sleep.
So knowing the certain indicas that will knock out an everyday stoner like myself, compared to one that will just help me relax is very important.
I give this strain 4.8 Flames out 5! Honestly one of the best indicas I have had and pushes my top 5 Strains.
Way to knock it out of the park and live up to the name. If you are an all day everyday smoker like myself, True Classic OG is a must try!
