Welcome back to another strain review.
A few months ago I did a strain review on a Fig Farms strain Doppelgänger. I didn’t give it my best review, however I said in that review that I wanted to try other strains from that company and see how it compares.
Wow was I right! We recently got Fig farms into Cannabist and I have loved every strain from them. Animal Face , Krypto Chronic, and the most recent one I tried Dark Karma!
Dark Karma is a strong sativa dominant hybrid. When you open the hat it smacks your nose with a piney diesel, then a fruity linger.
The buds had a bright green with dark almost purple nodes throughout. It had small red pistols, and a beautiful coating of trichomes. Not like a sparkle but more of a dusting.
The smell definitely prepares you for the taste. It’s very piney and almost peppery on the nose. Very similar to a Jack Herer, but with a twist . A slight tingle in the nose then a smack to the face. I compare it a lot to a headband or train wreck. If you can power through the first 10 mins of the head rush then it quickly becomes a euphoric and uplifting high.

Lineage: Dutch Treat x Strange Love
Tasting notes: Banana candy, lemon cleaner, Ritz cracker
We chose this phenotype of Dutch Treat x Strange Love from its siblings because of its terpenes and its effects. The strain’s name Dark Karma comes from its tendency to fade to dark colors, and for the ‘Instant Karma’ strain in its lineage.
We could have given this strain a Banana name because of how strong the banana aromatics are. The flowers are chunky, you will not find many smalls in Dark Karma batches. We briefly released an alternate phenotype to this flower named ‘Dutch Cookies’ .

Dark Karma the weight and edge off your body, while keeping you up. I think this is great for people who love a strong sativa and don’t get anxious. I think it’s great for a day off. Maybe a day festival or going for a boat ride. I will definitely get this strain and many more from Fig Farms. I give it a 4.4 flames out of 5!
