Welcome back to another strain review! This week I got to try Sour Cxxxx or Sour Candy from MOCA Humboldt. This is my first time trying a strain from MOCA and damn did they make a great first impression!
The cross of Sour Diesel and SAGE, an old school Afghani Haze, gives you an uplifting but very heady sativa. Just a heads up this is not a strain for people with ADHD or high anxiety, this is for my diehard sativa lovers!
When you first open the bag that diesel strikes your nose instantly, striking up your senses like the first sip of coffee in the morning It wakes up the rest of your body, and puts a vision in your eye, like an eagle that has spotted its prey. However this diesel strain doesn’t leave that gassy burn after note, but instead a sweetness as you crumble the nug. This gives you a perfect balance throughout the day.
The nugs were a tiny bit dry, could just be on the bags or just the curing process but were still gorgeous. The buds were made with bright green leaves with patches of red pistols all over. What truly makes this bud look incredible is the coating of trichomes blanketing everything. One shine of light on these nugs and it looks like the cameras of a 100 paparazzi going off.

As I warned in the beginning, this strain I only recommend to my true sativa lovers. A mix of two powerful sativas is a beautiful and dangerous thing. It can be uplifting and great for creativity. However if you get distracted easily this strain will mess with and intensify your adhd take you down a road of 20 projects. This will definitely keep you in your head as long as you are using it for a purpose, I highly recommend it. Overall I give it a 4.3 and for the price I would even bump it up to a 4.5. There are a few sativas I like a little more over this strain however it is very close. I will get the Sour Cxxxx again!!
