Welcome back to San Diego Cannabis Times’ Strain Reviews. This week I’m testing out the new strain from Wonderbrett, Orange Picasso! Have you heard of Brett Feldman or founder of Wonderbrett? Chances are you have and didn’t know it.
On December 15, 1992 Dr Dre dropped his first Solo Album after NWA. This album was called “The Chronic” and that fire weed he refers to is OG Kush grown by Brett.
Now Brett is not the creator of the OG Kush but he is the revolutionary of it and turned it into what it is today!
I have tried every strain from Wonderbrett. My favorites are his Lemon Oz, Orange Banana, and Melon OG, and just dropped several new strains: Agave, Orange Picasso, Lemon Citrine, Picasso GAK, and Good News.
This week I got to try the Orange Picasso. I was excited to try something new plus his strains are usually very flavorful. This one was no different. When I cracked the jar open it had a sweet orange tangy smell but then a floral smell like a dryer sheet. The nugs were dense buds but perfectly cured. It pulled apart perfectly into the grinder. It had bright green leaves with a bunch of short red pistols. .
When you taste the orange Picasso it matches the smell. It has a sweet orange punch then the floral on the back end. It definitely has a cross of their popular strain, Pink Picasso and I believe Orange Banana. It gave me a nice relaxing yet creative feeling. A really good hybrid that’s perfect after work or for a sunset. I would definitely use this on a Sunday or after work when I’m still trying to accomplish something while relaxing my body. Maybe zoning out and just gaming with some friends!
