Now normally I hate childish names for strains, it reminds me too much of the nicotine vape industry. So I had no interest in trying the Unicornz from THC Design, but one of my coworkers convinced me to get it. My coworker Jay hates sativas, but said he enjoyed the high and that it tasted like a strawberry milkshake! So if he liked a sativa, I had to give it a shot!
They have all the test results and terpenes on the box. Makes it easy to know how this should affect me. It tests at 30.18% THC and the leading terpenes are Limone, Caryophyllene, and Myrcene. So focused, uplifting, euphoric, and takes the edge off. Also THC Design has all the terpenes and descriptions of all terpenes on the inside of the box. So you can unfold the box and educate yourself. Not only on the terpenes in this strain, but on all terpenes! When I cracked the jar open it had a citrusy, then creamy scent to it. You can tell right away this is going to be a sweet strain. The buds are very dense. It has light green and purple leaves with bright red pistols or hairs. The bud is very dense. I have noticed this with all the THC Design strains. I think they may be cured just a little long.

It was a nice sweeter tasting bud then I’m used to but I liked it. The best was the effect. This is a very social and uplifting strain. Great for hanging with friends after work, strolling through Balboa Park, or going for a nice bike ride along the waterfront.
I highly recommend this flower giving it a 3.9 flames out of 5. It is a good priced ⅛ that is perfect for when a friend is visiting and you want to show them around. Also be on the lookout for the Garlic Cocktail from THC Design. It is their Indica and has not been able to stay on the shelves at Cannabist. If you see it, get it!
