Lots going in San Diego County – Let’s get into the Retail Round Up
San Diego
Multiple sources report San Diego-based THCSD and Cannabist are up for sale by The Cannabist Company (formerly Columbia Care.) While none of the bidding parties would go on the record, one said the transaction would happen “sooner than you might think.”…other developments include Mission Valley’s first Off The Charts, on Banks Street in Linda Vista. OTC CEO Norman Yousif said to look for a summer opening.

National City
National City saw several developments in the past week: Sessions by the Bay has announced an April 18-20 opening…Element 7 was in the news for less than flattering reasons…its city council voted last week to consider extending dispensary operating hours…the city has confirmed Mr. Nice Guy is no longer the owner of the license located at 3400 E 8th St,…TBD on its future…Off The Charts once looked to be the 1st to open however is beset by lot line assessment permitting issues, according to OTC CEO Norman Yousif.
Spring Valley
Spring Valley will see its first licensed dispensary open this summer, Sundial Collective. Construction has been underway for over a year at the former Lomita Family Medical Group location on Cardiff.

La Mesa
La Mesa has 2 retail licenses yet to open, with Lucky Cannabis under construction for well over a year. Owner Sebastian Hallak says various permitting issues have set them back, with an electrical grid issue requiring SDGE research. Wellgreens holds a license on Jackson, with no opening date scheduled per company sources.
Santee
Santee announced the 16 applicants eligible to move on to Phase 2 of its permitting process. After a public records request, San Diego Cannabis Times was able to piece together potential site for each of the 16. Check that report here.
