Welcome Back to Shaggy’s strain review. This week I’m trying Kush Co OG. I think these are very solid strains but I would like to try some more strains from the company to see how they differ. I found both of the strains have a lot of similarities between one another. Let’s first start off with the Kush Co OG.
FIrst off, the structure. Solid big buds but not dense, more airy. The Kush Co OG was light green with a more of a white tint, little orange pistols all over. The trichomes sparkled under the light and shined like diamonds. Under a microscope or in a photo this bud looks magnificent. The buds were just a little dried out just making them a little more solid and harder to break up. The curing process is a very difficult process because just a few days early or late can change the terpenes, harshness, and other properties of the plant.
The Kush Co OG was a bit sweeter than I was expecting but liked it. Sometimes when people cross kush with something it gives it a super sweet taste. The balance gave it a sweet up front then gave a nice funky after taste. I Think the Kush Co was a little sweeter than the Iceberg Slim, however they were very similar.
Total THC: 31.07%
Visual: A light green with a more of a white tint, little orange pistols all over. The trichomes sparkled under the light and shined like diamonds.
Effects: KushCo OG Kush provided a light euphoria and the tingle behind the eyes.
The high off of the OG was good for a little break or after work. I think it took off the edge and relaxed my body. It gave me a slight euphoria and the tingle behind the eyes. I think this strain is good for the first bong rip after work if you get home mid day. It won’t be too sedating so you can finish a few projects, run some errands, or take your dog on a walk. I give it a 3.8 flames out of 5. It’s a very good bud but nothing that extremely sets it apart to put in my elites.
