Welcome back to another strain review with shaggy! This week we are trying out Date Night #6 from 710 labs. Date Night #6 is made up of a cross of Peanut Butter Breath and Shallot Sashimi. For those of you wondering why 6 and not 5 or 7, well this refers to which strain they chose as the mother. When a grower for a company is trying to grow a new strain, they plant anywhere from 20 of the same plant up to 500 of the same plant to find the perfect characteristics to put on the shelves, then clone from there. But let’s get back to what makes this strain so special.
The buds of Date Night #6 are visually striking, boasting a vibrant array of greens with hues of purple and orange. The trichome coverage is impressive, giving the buds a frosty, glistening appearance. The nugs are dense and well-cured, showcasing the care put into the cultivation process.
Upon opening the jar, a rich and complex aroma immediately wafts through the air. The sweet, nutty notes from the Peanut Butter Breath genetics blend seamlessly with the pungent, savory undertones of Shallot Sashimi. The fragrance is enticing and promises a unique olfactory experience.
The flavor profile of Date Night #6 is a true delight for the palate. The initial inhale reveals a creamy, peanut butter essence that smoothly transitions into a subtle shallot and garlic undertone on the exhale. The combination is both unexpected and harmonious, creating a distinctive and memorable taste.
The high from Date Night #6 is not a strain I would pick for a first but more of a laid-back evening. Date Night provides a soothing body buzz, relieving tension and promoting a sense of calm without inducing sedation. So if you do use it for a date I recommend a movie or something chill.
Lineage: Peanut Butter Breath x Shallot Sashimi
THC: 27.1%
CBD: .06%
Main Terpenes present: D-Limonene, B-Caryophyllene, B-Mycrene, A-Humulene, A-Pinene, B-Pinene, Linalool, Fenchol
Aroma: a woody aroma with a sweet creamy fragrance. When you close your eyes, and take a deep breath in, it smells as if you are in a forest, after a nice rainfall.
Flavor: When you smoke it that woody taste comes out. It gives you a sweet maple almost nutty taste to it. I think this is coming from the dominance of the Peanut butter cross. However at the end you get a cut of fuel.
Effects: more of a heavier indica or hybrid indica. I get a tingle behind the eyes then my whole body goes into a restful state.
Date Night #6 may be beneficial for alleviating stress, anxiety, and mild to moderate pain. From my experience this great strain for early evening, when you don’t have too much to do and just want to relax!
710 Labs has crafted a truly unique and enjoyable strain with Date Night #6. The combination of Peanut Butter Breath and Shallot Sashimi genetics results in a memorable sensory experience that stands out in the crowded cannabis market. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a casual user, Date Night #6 is worth exploring for its enticing aroma, flavorful profile, and well-balanced effects. Overall I give the Date Night #6 a 4.3 flames out of 5!
