The Cake House continues to dominate the Edibles category as of August 4. Their stores in Vista and Encinitas rank #1 and #2 in our Edibles SKU survey.

A a whole, Edibles make up 14.08% of the retail cannabis sector (13,691 SKU’s) which is a sharp decrease from May’s 18.82% (18,313 SKU’s).

Retail Update: Element 7 in Chula Vista closed in early August, while Buzz Cannabis opened its doors in National City.

Additionally, Off the Charts acquired Body & Mind and The Cake House took over from Mankind, each in August.
