Today, I’m diving into 11 Coffins by Planta, a cross between Coffin Candy and RS11. Given its lineage, I expected a strong fruity sweetness when I first cracked open the jar. To my surprise—and delight—it wasn’t overwhelming. Instead, I was met with a subtle sweetness layered over an earthy undertone, like a dark berry wood scent. The fruitiness was present but balanced, making for a refined and intriguing aroma.
The nugs were dense and dark, showcasing deep green and purple leaves. Abundant red pistils intertwined throughout the flower, while the trichomes gave a frosted effect that brightened the green portions. The bud was slightly dry, which I feel could be improved with a minor adjustment in the curing process to bring out more of the terpenes.
Upon inhaling, the earthiness took center stage, grounding the flavor profile. However, as I exhaled, a subtle, lingering berry taste coated my tongue, adding a pleasant contrast to the initial richness. The complexity made for a unique and enjoyable smoking experience.

Aroma: Subtle sweetness upfront, followed by an earthy undertone.
Effects: After a bowl of Garlic Juice, zoning out with a good movie feels like the best move.
I was expecting a heavier knockout effect, but 11 Coffins had a more introspective high. It helped clear my mind and allowed me to tackle problems with a fresh perspective. Instead of couchlock, it provided the clarity and motivation to strategize my next moves—something I greatly appreciate, especially with an RV full of projects to tackle.
I’m giving 11 Coffins a 3.4 out of 5 flames. While this is one of my lower ratings, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad strain by any means. I’ve had the privilege of reviewing some truly top-tier flower, and while 11 Coffins may not sit in the upper echelon of the market, it also doesn’t come with a premium price tag. For those looking for an affordable, flavorful, and thought-provoking strain, it’s definitely worth a try.
