Which San Diego County dispensaries are least expensive?
San Diego Cannabis Times has surveyed all licensed dispensaries in the county and developed a ranking based on the cost of a basket of goods.
One item was selected from each of 6 categories: ‘
- Flower (prepack 1/8 oz)
- Prerolls (1 gram non-infused preroll)
- Gummies (100mg per package)
- Vape Cartridges (1 gram)
- Extract, live resin, (1 gram)
- Beverage: 100 mg*
*Chula Vista has a ban in place barring the sale of cannabis infused beverages. Chula shops have been ranked separately from those in the normally combined South Bay region that are able to sell, i.e., A Green Alternative in San Diego, Off The Charts and URBN Leaf in San Ysidro and March & Ash Imperial Beach.
A note about product selections used::
All attempts were made to use readily available cannabis products.
We’ve left out the highest end and lowest end products, for example boutique flower or extracts and analyzed commonly known brands so the comparisons can be as accurate as possible.
While dispensaries of course carry different brands, there were common brands you’ll see throughout the survey.
For example nearly every shop carries either WYLD, KANHA or KIVA gummies. Readers will see these brands throughout the survey.
This survey will be updated every 6 months.
