Have you ever seen one of your favorite companies drop an old school strain that just gets you so excited to try….. Well that happened this week with the White Widow from No Till Kings! I haven’t had a real white widow in years, so to see a company I love do it; I was like a little kid on Christmas Day! If you haven’t heard of No Till kings you need to check them out.
They are based out of Long beach but originally from San Diego. They focus on small batch instead of large harvest, keeping a consistent great product. There are also two things I think they are the best on. They are the best company I have seen doing living soil. Living soil is using bugs like worms and crickets to decompose the soil and put the nutrients back into the soil, creating a mini ecosystem for each plant. They also take the stems and leaves and grind to mix with the soil, so they are using former harvests to give nutrients to the new harvest.
The other thing I think No Till does the best is their curing process. Every ⅛ I have picked up from No Till is super fresh. Not wet but fresh and dried perfectly. Now let’s get to why I was so excited to try the White Widow from them!
White Widow is a Hybrid Sativa dominant strain. It became popular in the 1990s at coffeeshops in Amsterdam. White Widow is an uplifting social bud that gives great euphoric effects. The buds were a nice soft density. Easy to pull apart and grind. White Widow has very light bright green leaves with almost a white tent or shade depending on the trichomes. It also has short red pistols (hairs).

Lineage: Brazilian land race sativa crossed with a south Indian indica
Flavor: sweet earthy taste with notes of citrus.

The taste is incredible. It gives off a sweet earthy taste with notes of citrus. This is perfect for socializing and day activities. I highly recommend this for catching up with an old friend, playing games, or perfect pairing with a cup of coffee. This has been one of my Favorite Strains I have had in a long time. It’s not quite cracking my top 5 but damn is it close. I’m going to give it 4.8 Flames out of 5.
