Updated January 6, 2026: Best selection of licensed San Diego Cannabis products
2025 was a year of large scale changes in the local cannabis sector.
The county added 6 retail outlets (Buzz Sorrento Valley, Sessions by the Bay, Buzz National City and Off The Charts National City, Buzz Lemon Grove, and newcomer Perfect Union in San Diego) while losing just one storefront, Element 7 in Chula Vista.
Acquisitions/Rebrands made just as much of a splash:
March & Ash rebranded three locations (Chula Vista H St + Broadway and San Diego Fairmont Dr) to Puff-N-Dash, The Cake House acquired Golden State Greens and Mankind, Off the Charts acquired Body and Mind, and Wellgreens took over THC SD, and Cannabist, and in November STIIIZY acquired both Cannabis 21+ locations.
