Welcome to SUPER BOWL week! Great time to come together with friends and have a sunday funday and with cannabis becoming more popular the stoners can come out. I know i’m going to bring PBR THC seltzers, emerald PB Cups, and of course rolling a fat blunt for the halftime show. So what better strain to try out this week than The Franchise from Green Dragon!

Green Dragon The Franchise is a cross of boasts light green, dense buds with a few purple leaves and short orange pistols

This is my first time trying Green Dragon so I had no idea what to expect. The packaging definitely caught my eye being a football fan. The nugs were also nice and dense, not too dry either.The leaves were a light green with a few purple leaves and short orange pistols. It didn’t have too much of a smell or nose to it. Was kind of earthy and bland. The taste unfortunately was the same with nothing really catching my attention. However the effect is great!

The Franchise is available at Element 7 and Grasshopper in Chula Vista, Golden State Greens in Pt. Loma

This definitely a perfect example of INDICA meaning in da couch! This was a relaxing and very spacious high. Making it very hard to focus but excellent for pain relief. I think The Franchise is a confusing name for the effects. I was expecting for it to be a nice hybrid to have a day of just watching football and great for the super bowl. This is more for the athletes after the super bowl than for someone watching it.

Overall I think this is a good strain and would love to try more strains from Green Dragon. The taste and nose could be improved but the high is great. I recommend The Franchise after a heavy workout, watching a movie before bed, or after a surgery or injury! I rate it a 3.9 flames out of 5!
