Phase 3 Public Meetings for the Socially Equitable Cannabis Program
We want to hear from you! The County of San Diego Planning & Development Services (PDS) invites you to attend public meetings to share your thoughts. The Socially Equitable Cannabis Program (SECP) is seeking your input on specific topics to be included in the SECP, as directed by the Board of Supervisors (Board). The specific topics include cannabis facility design guideline checklists, limits or caps on the number of cannabis facilities, defining cannabis events, and the establishment of a Community Equity Contribution Program.
This will be the final phase of outreach for these specific topics. At these meetings, staff will provide a recap of the topics and feedback received to-date, as well as share the emerging concepts to be provided to the Board as information-only at a future Board hearing. There will be additional engagement opportunities to provide input on the overall Program at future dates.
