Adams Ave Street Fair To Include Its First Cannabis Row

Cannabis Row, presented by Farmers Cup and Mankind, will be making a public debut of sorts, with their co-sponsorship of the 2023 Adams Avenue Street Fair. The Cannabis Row area will be confined to the Adams Avenue Theatre and will feature informational booths hosted by area cannabis firms. Dispensary Partner Mankind will be on hand to power the fulfillment, and vendors will providing the public the chance to learn more about an often misunderstood industry. Cannabis Row was last held as part of Balboa Park’s 2022 Earth Day festivities.

Joshua Caruso of Farmers Cup stated “We’re super excited to be a part of this long standing community event. Any time we can better educate the public about cannabis and its healing properties in a festive environment, we will.”

Scott Kessler, Executive Director of Adams Avenue Business Association, said the inclusion of the local cannabis industry was a matter of dollars and cents: “The costs of producing the Street Fair has risen 50% since just last year, so adding the two name sponsors was a straight business decision. We look at it like any other sponsor. There was minimal opposition among the AABA Board of Directors and the addition was approved.”

Event materials state: “Presented by Farmers Cup and Mankind, Cannabis Row is 6,000 square feet of exhibition space focused on the legal cannabis industry located at the newly refurbished, historic Adams Avenue Theater, 3325 Adams Avenue. Legal cannabis has been part of the California landscape for years but is still not widely understood. Learn about cannabis education, buying tips, special programs, licensed vendors, and more.”
